Sleeps 4 | 1 Bedroom | 1 Bath | Office | half acre lot
The Grounds
Arrive via a paved county-maintained road to your private gravel driveway with space for two vehicles. The house sits on a flat half-acre lot surrounded by oak trees, pine trees, and manzanitas. The front yard features a cute front porch—perfect for —and a classic Julian apple tree. Come spring, you'll find a beautiful garden filled with tulips, daffodils, and lilacs.

Living & Dining
Walk through the front door into an open living space featuring Mission and Arts and Crafts style furnishings. The walls are adorned with local historical photos and cottage art. Cozy up to the no-mess pellet stove, enjoy the dedicated coffee bar, or share a meal in the dining area.

Kitchen & Laundry
To the right of the living area is the fully stocked kitchen. Continue through to the inside laundry room, which provides direct access to the back patio.

Office
To the left of the living area is the open office, featuring a pull-out couch with a full-size bed for extra guests.

Closet & Bathroom
Step down into the short hallway; on your left, you'll find the closet with plenty of space to unpack. (The back portion of the closet is not accessible to guests.)
To the right, the galley-style bathroom includes a walk-in shower (no tub) stocked with fresh towels and essentials. The bathroom features its own dedicated heater.

Main Bedroom
The spacious primary bedroom features a king-size bed, a low cozy ceiling, its own mini-split, and an entrance to the patio.

Outside Space
A paver walkway encircles the house and leads to a private back patio. The yard offers inviting seating areas to relax in and plenty of space for kids to explore, while the quiet street is perfect for riding bikes.

Other things to note
Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire single-family 900-square-foot house, which is on a half-acre lot.
Restricted Area
There is one closet inside the house that guests do not have access to.
Sheds: Guests do not have access to the two sheds on the property.
Guest Access: These sheds are used for storage and as a private office. They are not accessible to guests.
Host Presence: Because we use one of the sheds as our daily workspace, you may occasionally see us walking to or from the office during your stay.
Your Privacy is Priority: While we are "on-site" in the office, we are there to work! We will always respect your space and privacy, and we’ll do our best to remain "invisible" so you can enjoy your mountain getaway in peace.
Accessibility
There are censored nightlights throughout the house for night visibility.
While the home is one story, there are steps to enter the house, a step down into the hallway leading to the bedroom/bathroom, and a step inside the bathroom itself.
Additionally, the roof in the hallway, closet, and bedroom is 7' high. The bathroom also has a sloped ceiling.
Family Friendly
We welcome families—just bring the kids! Please note we do not have a bathtub.
Pets
No pets or emotional support animals are allowed.
Weather & Travel
Julian weather varies; please check the weather before arriving and plan accordingly. For stays between November and May, snow is possible. During active snowfall, AWD and/or chains are required by officials for mountain passage—please plan accordingly!
Wildlife
The San Diego mountains are inhabited by creatures of all shapes and sizes. We share these mountains with bugs, rodents, deer, turkeys, and raptors. Bug/critter sightings inside or outside the home are possible. While rare, snakes and larger mountain wildlife like coyotes or mountain lions do inhabit the area.
